(1906-88) The main founder of the Windsor Centre; received the Service Award in 1984.
CYRIL HALLAM (1906-1988) was the main founder of the Windsor Centre, and its first Treasurer. He served for a total of 12 years as Treasurer, was on the Council for 23 years, three of these years as President. His career as a teacher fitted him well for his many educational activities in the Centre. From an account of the 1945 solar eclipse which he and Mrs Hallam witnessed in Wolseley, Saskatchewan, to a description of his trip to Kitt Peak in 1983, his talks over the years spanned many topics. He was presented with the Service Award in 1984.
