Stunning Star Trails

With the Perseids Meteor shower around the corner, the last two years have featured talks on photographing meteor showers (last Aug's event is available on the RASC Montreal Centre YouTube channel). This year we are happy to host UK Astronomer Mary McIntyre to teach us how to capture the motion of the entire Night Sky. Learn absolutely everything you need to know to create stunning star trails images. Mary will take us through framing and composition, camera settings, instructions on how to use the free star trails software, basic image processing and finally how to create a timelapse video of your beautiful star trails.
