Asteroid (16972) Neish

Catherine D. Neish (b. 1981) is a professor at the University of Western Ontario who studies Titan, the Moon and Venus using orbital radar. Previously known by the moniker Katie Dot, she is an avid scuba diver, a champion for social justice, and mother to Penelope.

Asteroid (117390) Stephanegendron

Stephane Gendron (b. 1963) is Materials and Thermal Engineer at the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) and he acted as the CSA Thermal Engineer in the project OLA, a sophisticated Lidar instrument provided by CSA for the OSIRIS-REx Asteroid Sample Return Mission.

Asteroid (345842) Alexparker

Alex H. Parker (b. 1987) is an American astronomer whose research on asteroids and trans-neptunian objects has contributed to the understanding of solar system formation and evolution. He is the co-discoverer of several minor planets.

His 2011 Ph.D. “Ultra-Wide Trans-Neptunian Binaries: Tracers of the Outer Solar System’s History” was completed at the University of Victoria, Advisor: Dr. JJ Kavelaars.
