Ken Chilton Prize

Ken Chilton Background

This prize is named after the late Kenneth E. Chilton of the Hamilton Centre (1939-1976). He was active in the Hamilton Centre for over 10 years and received a National Service Award in 1976.

The prize is awarded annually to an amateur astronomer resident in Canada, in recognition of a significant piece of astronomical work carried out or published recently. Any two Society members may submit nominations for the prize. Nominations should be sent to the Awards Committee chair by December 31. Use the fillable form below.
