Member Service
The Society employs one full-time and one part-time staff member.
Jo Taylor, who is the Society's Executive Secretary and manages the day-to-day operations of the Society and the national office, and another staff member who is our part time Membership and Publications Clerk. The office is located at 203 - 4920 Dundas St W, Toronto ON M9A IB7
National Office provides the following services:
- Membership Processing - Acceptance and processing of membership application for all Centres, except for the Toronto Centre.
- Publications - Management of the distribution of RASC publications to members, Centres, subscribers, dealers, other astronomy clubs, and the public.
- Promotional Items - Distribution management for the Society's promotional items inventory, including RASC merchandise and clothing.
- Referral Service - if the office staff can't help you, they will refer you one of the dozens of Society volunteers who most likely can.
Members who are in the Toronto Area are welcome to visit the National Office. Normal Office hours are normally 1-7pm ET, but be sure to call ahead. RASC merchandise is available at the office (cash and credit cards accepted).
