Your generous support will help us in inform, educate, and bring the wonders of the Universe to all Canadians. The Society will issue a tax receipt for all donations over $10. The RASC is a registered charitable organization under the terms of the Income Tax Act. Donations and bequests in recent years have allowed us to:

• Fund free public presentations on astronomical topics across Canada under our Public Speaker Program.
• Award two prizes each year in the Canada-Wide Science Fair
• Print and distribute thousands of Star Finders, Eclipse Viewers, a Moon Gazer’s Guide, a Getting Started in Astronomy Guide, Solar Viewers, and much more.
• Recognize long service with significant achievement of our volunteers through our Awards program.

Ways to Give

Donations may be specifically directed to help support the future development of the Society, to support ongoing educational initiatives, to our long-term goal of owning and operating a remote telescope, and 2018's sesquicentennial – 150 years of Canadian astronomy.
