Asteroid (734551) Monin

Named in honor of Canadian astronomer Dmitry Monin (b. 1973) in appreciation of his devoted service as the telescope technical officer at the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory and at the Herzberg Astronomy and Astrophysics Research Centre of the National Research Council of Canada. Dmitry is an authority on the magnetic fields of massive stars.

Asteroid (700818) Pauldelaney

Paul J. Delaney (b. 1956) is an Australian-Canadian variable-star astronomer. He was the inaugural Carswell Chair for the Public Understanding of Astronomy at York University in Toronto. A tireless astronomy educator, Paul won the Sandford Fleming Medal for science communication and the Qilak Award for Astronomy Outreach and Communication.

Karun G. Thanjavur (b. 1957) is a Canadian astronomer and engineer at the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Victoria. He is a former Resident Astronomer at the Canada-France-Hawaii telescope. Karun's areas of expertise include marine engineering, robotics and instrumentation, as well as observational cosmology.

Robert Earle "Bobby" Clarke (b. 1949) is a Canadian-born hockey player who played 15 years in the NHL with the Philadelphia Flyers. As captain and the heart of the Flyers during their "Broad Street Bullies" years, he helped bring Stanley Cup championships to Philadelphia in 1974 and 1975. He won the Hart Trophy three times and is in the Hockey Hall of Fame.
