The IAU Pro-Am Workshop 2026 will take place in October 2026 in Pennsylvania, USA, with both in-person and virtual participation options.

This international workshop focuses on strengthening collaboration between amateur and professional astronomers through observational astronomy, citizen science, outreach, education, and instrumentation-driven research.

The event aims to bring together astronomers, educators, students, and outreach leaders to explore how Pro-Am partnerships can advance scientific discovery and public engagement in astronomy. The workshop will also highlight the importance of dark sky preservation and access to high-quality observational data.
