Michael G. Richer (b. 1964) is a Canadian astronomer of the Instituto de Astronomía, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. He has held leadership positions in administration and on instrumental projects, in addition to teaching regularly and contributing to outreach. Michael has published over 90 refereed papers, focusing mainly upon planetary nebulae.
