Join RASC member Jeff Donaldson as he demonstrates his workflow using PixInsight on some of his photos. For this new to astrophoto processing, PixInsight is a popular (but not free) image processor for editing your astroimages.
The PixInsight website (https://pixinsight.com) describes the app as "advanced image processing software platform. It has been designed specifically for astrophotography and other technical imaging fields. PixInsight is a modular, open-architecture system where the entire processing and file handling capabilities are implemented as external installable modules."
Only the first 100 people will be able to register online. For those that cannot attend due to registration being full or other personal responsibilities, the session is being recorded and will be available on the RASC Halifax Centre YouTube site after the session is held.
