Asteroid (723218) Binsted

Kim Binsted (b. 1970) is an American-Canadian-Austrian researcher on the faculty of the University of Hawai'i. She studied at McGill University and earned a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Edinburgh. Kim was Chief Scientist on a Mars exploration analogue on Devon Island in Canada and helped develop HI-SEAS, a simulated Mars habitat.
