Alex Stefanescu (b. 1955) is a retired Romanian-Canadian electrical engineer and
amateur astronomer. A former director of the Bellevue Observatory, he participated in
instrument maintenance, astronomy camps, stargazing, public talks and astrophotography,
attending three total solar eclipses.
