Asteroid (14026) Esquerdo

Gil Esquerdo (b.1976), a research assistant at the Planetary Science Institute in Tucson, spent 2002 as a research assistant for the Near-Earth-Asteroid Physical Study project at the University of Western Ontario. A keen observer, Esquerdo also presents the night sky to guests at a bed and breakfast inn in Arizona. In 2018, Esquerdo works as an operator of the 1.5m telescope on Mount Hopkins, part of the Fred L. Whipple Observatory.
