Roger Ceragioli (b. 1959) was a professional optician and worked for the University of Arizona's Steward Mirror Laboratory, specializing in meter-class optics. His projects include the "90-Prime" focus corrector for the Bok Telescope and the MODS spectrograph for the Large Binocular Telescope. He has designed and built hundreds of optical components during his career. More recently, he has produced designs for commercial companies. His Ph.D. dissertation was on "The lore and poetry of the Dog Star in antiquity". He holds advanced degrees from the University of California, Berkeley and Harvard University (Ph.D.)
