The Canadian city of London, Ontario, was founded in 1854, and is located at the forks of the Thames River, midway between Lake Erie and Lake Huron. London is a regional centre for education, health, industry and agriculture. The University of Western Ontario and Fanshawe College are located in London. The city's website is here. In 2005, the city's junior hockey team, the London Knights, won the Memorial Cup, capping what some hockey commentators think was the greatest junior hockey season in history. The team won the Memorial Cup again in 2016 and 2025.
