Keish James Mason (c.1855-1916), known as "Skookum Jim," was a Tagish adventurer and prospector in Canada's Yukon Territory who shared the discovery claim that initiated the Klondike Gold Rush. A trust fund he established helped provide medical care for aboriginals in the Yukon, and his house in Carcross is an interpretative centre today for Yukon culture.
