Jupiter on 1960 June 18/19 at 22:20+25m EST (03:20 UT) as sketched by Jim Low. C.M.(1) 162º, C.M.(2) 159º. 4" reflector at 130x, 167x. Seeing 4/10. Transparency 4½/5. North is down. Satellites I, and III were observed to be in conjunction (i.e.—forming a 90º angle with the zones of the planet) at 23h 28m. EST (04h 28m UT), and they were about 20" apart.
