Donations to the RASC

Information for Donors

The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada is a registered charitable organization under the terms of the Income Tax Act. Our CRA registration number is 11912 6282 RR0001.

The RASC is pleased to be able to offer its donors several options for contributing to the work of the Society. Donations can be directed in one or more of the following areas:

• General Purposes of the Society or a specific Centre of the Society.
• the International Year of Astronomy Appeal.
• the Sustaining Members.
• The Ruth Northcott Memorial Fund (for Society publications, education and outreach activities)
• The Millman Endowment Fund (for the long term growth of the Society)

NOTE: The Society will issue a tax receipt for all donations over $10 Canadian.
