Thank you for reporting your astronomy outreach event. This important information gives us data on RASC outreach activities, which is vital to our fund raising efforts. It is also helps us determine needs for new resource development, additional production runs, and resource distribution among our members and centres.

Note that you will receive a confirmation email containing your event data for your records after your submission.

Event Information

Our basic unit of reporting is an event which is an activity of one type (e.g. a star party or school demonstration). If your event had more than one activity, such as a public mall display in the afternoon followed by an evening observing session with different volunteers, they should be entered as separate event records. Alternatively, if you have put on a series of activities of the same kind (e.g. a series of public star nights) with a consistent group of volunteers then you can use one entry with an appropriate number of events recorded.

Note that numeric entries must be whole numbers. Values such as 75+ or 40-60 are not permitted.

Leave value as one unless this is a multi-day event.

For repeating activities. e.g. enter 7 if your centre ran that number of elementary school visits.

Count volunteers separately below

If this you have offered multiple activities of the same type this number should be the total number of participants (e.g. 6 star parties x 30 people each = 180).

As above this should be the total number of volunteers participating for multiple activities.
