Avis aux membres de la SRAC au sujet de nouvelles modalités de livraison du Journal de la SRAC (juillet 2006)

En février dernier, les membres de la Société ont voté en faveur du retrait du Journal, de la liste des bénéfices reliés au statut de membre. Subséquemment, le Conseil national a adopté une proposition visant à diffuser le Journal aux membres en format électronique. Ces décisions avaient pour but d'aider la Société à corriger son déficit opérationnel.

Notice to All RASC Members Regarding Changes to the Delivery of The Journal of the RASC (July 2006)

In February of this year the Society membership voted to remove the entitlement to receive the Journal as a benefit of membership. The national council subsequently approved a proposal to change the default delivery mode of the Journal to members, from print to electronic. This initiative was undertaken to help correct the Society’s operating deficit.

Call for Nominations - Observer's Handbook Editor

The position of Observer's Handbook Editor will be vacant as of 2006 Feb. 11, with a replacement appointed by the RASC National Council (or the Executive Committee) at the suggestion of the Nominating Committee on or after this date. The Observer's Handbook Editor is responsible for preparing each summer the following year's edition of the Observer's Handbook.
