Jupiter on 1960 August 6/7 at 23:30-23:45 EDT (03:30-03:45 UT) as sketched by K.R. Brasch. C.M.(1) 348º, C.M.(2) 330.4º. 8" reflector at 165x. Seeing 3-5. Transparency 2-3. Enormous detail visible under good conditions, R.S. appeared pink followed by an oval gap in NNTeZ newly observed cloud object (streak) in NEB clearly visible at approximately 319.6º, having moved considerably to left.
