Education

The goal of the Education Committee is to help parents, teachers, students and all Canadians learn more about astronomy. The committee is made up of RASC members and contributors from across Canada.

To reach the committee you may e-mail the Education Committee Chair. Please give your town so we can find the people at the nearest Centre who can help (centre locations are listed here).

The RASC will be running Transit of Venus activities. Some details are here.

There is a Power Point presentation on the Transit for any centre which wants to use it to provide more information to members about this event (see below).

There is a poster for the transit available for centres to print in PDF form (see below). This has a space with general text about the event.

If centres want to add local information about their event in that space, there is also a poster with an empty event space (see below). Much of the other text is Viner Hand TTC font.
