Venus on 1961 February 11/12 at 16:30 + 10m EST (21:30 UT) as sketched by Jim Low. 4" reflector at 167x. Seeing 4/10. Transparency 4/5. Venus was found with the naked eye while the sun was about 8° above the horizon—and is an easy naked eye object by day.
