Asteroid (25942) Walborn

Nolan R. Walborn (b. 1945) is a stellar spectroscopist specializing in the optical and ultraviolet morphology of hot, massive stars, such as O and B, Wolf-Rayet, and Luminous Blue Variables. His studies have included star forming regions in the Milky Way and the Magellanic Clouds. Hel held a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Toronto between Spring 1971 and September 1975, when he left to take up a position with the Cerro Tololo InterAmerican Observatory in La Serena, Chile.
